Could a 22 Year Old Be the Next Mayor of Waltham?
Waltham’s 22 year old Mayoral candidate Andrew Wirth is not your average candidate for Mayor, however he brings a unique and creative element to the table that could lend itself to really breathing life back into the city.
He is also well known for being able to spin things in a different way, literally. Andrew Wirth can spin a tray atop his finger for two and a half hours at a time, and he will be attempting a Guinness Book of World Records by spinning an actual copy of the Guinness Book of World Records. Although Wirth is not the eldest candidate, which even he admits, he does bring a breath of fresh air to the town, and is very open to ideas and what the people of Waltham really want.
He plans to graduate from Mass. Bay this year and is hoping to attend Babson College to study business, administration and entrepreneurship. He said he’d focus on bringing businesses into the city, particularly around Moody Street, if elected mayor.
Do you think it’s possible to have a young candidate, such as Mr. Wirth, actually fulfill the responsibilities of a Mayor?

Totally. Then again, I’m a bit biased as his youngest sister
but as family only knows, Andrew is the type of guy to achieve whatever he puts his mind to. I know that he is going to be one of the best Mayors, with his only flaw being too kind.
